Our facilities
A digital immersion
To welcome its students and future talent, whether they come from the Nice metropolitan area, the South of France or other regions, 42 Nice has established itself at the heart of the Nice MĂ©ridia Eco-Valley and technology hub. Located on the 4th floor, 42 Nice covers an area of 1,200 m2. With a 160 m2 amphitheater, 4 clusters, a cafeteria and a 140 m2 terrace, everything is designed to ensure the best learning conditions possible.
Because the desire to learn never stops, the school is accessible to students 24/7. This means, among other things, that students can organize their training at 42 Nice according to their needs. The building is equipped with elevators and a ramp to access the terrace (in addition to specific accommodations), making our spaces accessible to people with reduced mobility. Other arrangements can also be made for people with disabilities.

The clusters
Because learning to code must take place in front of a computer screen, a large part of our space is dedicated to computer rooms, or, as we call them, “clusters”.
42 Nice provides over 140 workstations, across 4 clusters, to enable ongoing exchanges. All our clusters are open-space, except for one which is a closed room. We call it the “silent room” – ideal for those who need to concentrate on a particular project.
The amphitheater
It’s THE place to be-share-learn, in addition to the Clusters and the cafeteria. This is where we host speakers, conferences and meetings organized by The Bocal. It’s also the place where learners organize their own learning or exam revision sessions. Fully equipped with armchairs, beanbags, a table soccer and a big screen. The amphitheater is also the ideal place to relax, plug in your Nintendo Switch, play with your VR headset, or simply clear your head and escape from the code for a while. et dâun grand Ă©cran, l’amphithĂ©Ăątre est Ă©galement lâespace de dĂ©tente idĂ©al pour plugger ta Nintendo Switch, jouer avec ton casque VR, ou tout simplement tâaĂ©rer lâesprit et tâĂ©chapper du code pour un instant.
The cafeteria
A relaxation area – including an indoor area and a large terrace – ideal for eating away from the screens, at any time of day. This way, you can keep your meals cool, reheat them or simply share a coffee with other students using our vending machines.
The bocal
The bocal is the equivalent of a traditional school’s administrative department. It’s the place to go if you have any problems or questions about your training. It’s also in this windowed office that the bocaliens work on the school’s development (via its partnership, marketing and communication actions), and watch over the clusters and the general behavior of its students.
Nice
Our campus is located in Nice – capital of the Alpes-Maritimes department in the Provence-Alpes-CĂŽte d’Azur region. Our students benefit from all the best the city has to offer: an enviable climate, a mix of Franco-English-Italian architecture, a perfect location between the Mediterranean Sea and the Alps, a variety of atmospheres to suit all tastes, sports activities in abundance and much more.

To offer the same chances of a successful training experience to all its students, 42 Nice provides IT equipment, in clusters designed to promote exchange and stimulate creativity.
Computers at your disposal
Giving everyone the chance to learn also means ensuring that those who don’t have a personal computer can do so. That’s why at 42 Nice, as on all other 42 campuses, all 144 workstations are equipped with a computer, keyboard, mouse and mouse pad. And that too is free!
Fiber equipped campus
With sometimes as many as 150 students on campus, potentially simultaneously using the Internet, connectivity is, unsurprisingly, one of our top priorities. To meet this demand, we offer dedicated fiber and Wifi access throughout the whole campus.
Server room
3 computing servers and 1 storage server constitute the network on our Nice campus. In fact, each of our students benefits from a 10 Gb personal storage space.
